PokerStars network rakeback in 2026
The PokerStars network has two rooms on this site, PokerStars and Betfair Poker, and each pays rakeback in its own way. PokerStars returns 15% to 60% of your rake through Stars Rewards chests and its Select levels, while Betfair Poker pays cash rakeback to UK players through Stack+.
Which poker sites use the PokerStars network?
PokerStars runs the network software and its own international site. Betfair Poker joined in August, when it left iPoker and relaunched on PokerStars software under the name PokerStars on Betfair. Betfair Poker serves only players in the United Kingdom under a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) license, and Irish players who try Betfair are directed to PokerStars.

How Stars Rewards pays at PokerStars
Stars Rewards starts after a one-time opt-in. You earn 100 Reward Points for every $1 of rake in cash games and fees in tournaments. The points fill a progress bar, and each full bar opens a chest whose value is fixed by your chest level.
Chests come in six levels, from Blue through Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond to Black. Opening chests regularly moves you up a level, and a long spell without one moves you down. PokerStars publishes the return at each level, from 15% at Blue to 40% at Black. Players with high rake over twelve months move on to PokerStars Select at 50% or Select+ at up to 60%, both paid as daily cash.
What Stack+ pays at Betfair Poker
Stack+ is the rakeback program Betfair Poker introduced after the move to PokerStars software. It pays rakeback as cash, without converting points into chests or tickets.
Because Betfair Poker is open only to UK residents, Stack+ is the PokerStars network option for players in the United Kingdom who want cash back instead of chests. The Betfair Poker rakeback page has the full terms.
Rake at PokerStars cash tables
At $0.05/$0.10 No-Limit Hold'em, PokerStars takes 5% of the pot with a cap of $$1. Pot-Limit Omaha at the same stakes is raked at 4.25% with a cap of $$1.50. No rake is taken from a hand that ends before the flop.
Choosing between PokerStars and Betfair Poker
A UK player can pick either room. PokerStars suits players who want a published rate that rises with their chest level, and Betfair Poker suits players who want Stack+ rakeback paid straight to their balance in cash. Outside the UK, PokerStars is the only network room on this list.
The PokerStars rakeback page explains chest values in detail, and the GGPoker vs PokerStars comparison sets Stars Rewards against Ocean Rewards. To put a rate on your own rake, use the rakeback calculator; the rakeback guide covers chest and points programs in general.
