Privacy policy
rakeback-poker.org has no user accounts and loads no third-party scripts, tracking pixels or external fonts. The only personal data the site handles is the technical information in server logs and anything you send us yourself.
Data the site does not collect
You can read every page without signing up or giving us your name or email address. The site does not run third-party analytics, advertising networks, social media widgets or tracking pixels. All fonts, images and scripts are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not send your data to another company.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not build profiles of readers.
Technical data in server logs
The web server keeps a request log for security and troubleshooting. Each entry holds a shortened IP address, with the last part removed (an IPv4 address is cut to its first three blocks and an IPv6 address to its first 48 bits), so the entry does not point to a single connection.
- the shortened IP address
- the date and time of the request
- the address of the page you requested and the response code
- the page that linked to it
- your browser type and operating system as reported by the browser
The request log is deleted after 14 days. We use it to detect abuse, fix errors and count traffic in aggregate form, and we do not combine it with other data to identify you.
How the site knows your country
The site does not look up your location. The language version you open sets a starting country, and you can change it with the selector at the top of the page. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so that the next visit opens with the same country. It stays on your device, is not sent to our servers with your requests and is not linked to your identity.
The site sets no cookies. To remove the saved country, clear the site data for this domain in your browser settings.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its UK equivalent give you rights over your personal data. Readers elsewhere can make the same requests.
- You can ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- You can ask us to delete your data.
- You can object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- You can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Because the site has no accounts, the data we hold is usually limited to log entries and any messages you send. To find log entries linked to you, we may ask for the IP address and the approximate time of your visit.
Messages you send us
If you write to us, we use your message and contact details only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request.
Contact and changes to this policy
To exercise your rights or ask about this policy, use the contact page. If we change how the site handles data, we update this page and the date at the top. The about page explains who runs the site and what it covers.
