Poker rakeback calculator
This poker rakeback calculator multiplies your monthly rake by the rakeback rate of your deal and shows the return per month and per year. For VIP programs the rate depends on your volume, so the calculator picks the level your rake qualifies for. You need one number to start: how much rake you pay in a typical month.

- Amounts are shown in USD.
The poker rakeback calculator estimates the money a room returns on the rake you generate. Rake is the cut a poker room takes from cash game pots and tournament entries, and rakeback is the part of it paid back to you. The estimate covers the rakeback program only and leaves out welcome bonuses and leaderboard prizes.
What to enter in the calculator
- Enter your rake for a typical month in the currency your room uses, since some rooms count rake in dollars and others in euros.
- Choose a poker room to apply its published rate, or type a rate yourself if you have a fixed deal.
- For rooms with VIP levels, the calculator places you at the level your monthly rake reaches.
Use the same period for every input. If you know only your weekly rake, multiply it by 4.3 to get a monthly figure before you enter it.
How the calculator works out your return
For a fixed deal the math is one step: monthly rake times the rakeback rate equals the monthly return. A 25% deal on $300 of rake pays $75, and twelve such months pay $900.
VIP programs add a second step, because the rate itself depends on how much you play. The calculator first converts your rake into the program's points, then finds the level those points reach, then applies that level's rate.
Guts Poker shows how this works. You earn 10 Loyalty Points for each €1 of rake, and your level is set every month by the points you collected. You start at Silver with 10%, Gold needs 500 points a month and pays 15%, Platinum needs 1,000 points and pays 20%, and Diamond needs 3,000 points and pays 30%.
How to estimate your monthly rake
The most accurate source is your hand history. Poker tracking software reads every hand you played and totals the rake per session, per week or per month. Check which method the total uses, since a room may credit you by contributed rake (your share of the money in the pot) or by dealt rake (an equal share for everyone dealt in).
Without tracking software, use your account. Many rooms show rake or tournament fees in the cashier history or in the loyalty section, and the points balance converts back to rake at a fixed ratio.
- At GGPoker you earn 100 Tide Points for each $1 of rake, so dividing a month of Tide Points by that number gives your rake in dollars.
- At partypoker one point equals $1 of rake, so the weekly points total is your weekly rake in dollars.
- At Guts Poker you earn 10 Loyalty Points for each €1 of rake, so the same division turns a month of Loyalty Points into euros of rake.
For tournaments, add up the fee part of each buy-in. Ten $10 plus $1 tournaments a day over 30 days add $300 of fees to your monthly total.
Example calculation at Guts Poker
Say you pay €200 in rake in a month at Guts Poker. The Loyalty Points from that rake place you at Platinum. The calculator returns €40 for the month and €480 over twelve such months, an effective rate of 20%.
Guts Poker pays this as Reward Points, and you convert them to euros yourself in the My Account section of the client, at 100 Reward Points for €1.
What the estimate leaves out
The calculator assumes a steady month. Real results move with your volume, and several program rules can lower what you receive.
- Points between two targets can expire, as with Weekly Cashback at partypoker, so a week that ends just short of a target pays at the lower rate.
- Rewards paid in a program currency need converting, and GGPoker gives a better GEMs exchange rate on larger exchanges.
- Annual programs such as Ocean Rewards set your level by points earned in the calendar year, so a strong month early in the year counts toward the level for the rest of it.

Questions and answers
How do you calculate poker rakeback?
Multiply your rake by the rakeback rate. With $500 of rake and a 20% rate, you get $100.
How do I find out how much rake I pay?
Check your hand history in tracking software or the loyalty section of your account. Points convert back to rake at a fixed ratio, such as 100 Tide Points per $1 at GGPoker.
Does the calculator include tournament fees?
Yes, if you add them to your monthly rake. Guts Poker Loyalty and Elite Benefits at ACR Poker both count tournament fees the same way as cash game rake.
Why is my real rakeback lower than the estimate?
Usually because of expired points, a conversion rate on program currency or a lower level than expected. Compare your points balance with the level targets of your room.
