How Black Chip Poker rakeback is paid
Rakeback is money a poker room hands back from the rake it collected from you. At Black Chip Poker that return arrives through Elite Benefits, the loyalty program of the Winning Poker Network, which Black Chip Poker shares with ACR Poker and Ya Poker.
Elite Benefits works with two kinds of points. Benefit Points count your volume and decide your tier. Player Points are what you spend, and the Elite Benefits store sells cash for them. The cash price in Player Points is shown inside the Black Chip Poker client.
Player Points do not expire as long as you earn at least one point in each calendar year. A player who stops completely for a full calendar year loses the unspent balance.
How many Benefit Points you earn per dollar
Black Chip Poker credits 5.5 Benefit Points for every $1 of rake in cash games and for every $1 of tournament fees. Cash game rake is counted by the weighted contributed method, which splits the rake of a pot among the players who put money into it in line with their share.
The method rewards the players who put the most money into raked pots. Someone who plays many large pots earns more Benefit Points per session than a player at the same table who folds most hands.
Black Chip Poker tiers and their multipliers
Elite Benefits has six tiers. The first four are set by the Benefit Points you earn within a calendar month, so the count starts again on the first of each month. The two top tiers are set by Benefit Points earned within a calendar year.
- Player is the entry tier with a multiplier of 1.
- Rounder needs 750 Benefit Points in a month and has a multiplier of 1.5.
- Grinder needs 3,000 Benefit Points in a month and has a multiplier of 2.
- Veteran needs 7,500 Benefit Points in a month and has a multiplier of 2.5.
- Legend needs 100,000 Benefit Points in a year and has a multiplier of 3.5.
- Icon needs 1,000,000 Benefit Points in a year and has a multiplier of 5.
The multiplier is applied to the Player Points you collect, so the same dollar of rake is worth more Player Points at Veteran than at Rounder. Moving from Player to Icon multiplies the spendable points from each dollar by 5.
Working out your Black Chip Poker return from monthly rake
Say you pay $250 in rake and tournament fees in a month. You can estimate the cash value of that month in four steps.
- Multiply the $250 by 5.5 to get your Benefit Points for the month.
- Compare that total with the monthly thresholds to see which tier you reach.
- Apply the multiplier of that tier to find the Player Points you collect.
- Check the cash price in Player Points in the Elite Benefits store inside the client and divide.
The calculation uses the store price shown in the client at the time you redeem. To set the result against a fixed percentage from another room, use the rakeback calculator.

Elite Benefits or a rakeback deal at Black Chip Poker
The Elite Benefits rules exclude players who are on a rakeback deal, and they allow a one-time conversion between the two. An account therefore collects either Elite Benefits points or rakeback under a separate deal, never both at once. Since the conversion can be made only once, test Elite Benefits for a few months on your real volume before you decide.
Black Chip Poker rake in cash games
Black Chip Poker rakes no-limit and pot-limit cash games at 5% of the pot. At five or more players the cap is $$3 per pot at every stake level, and tables with fewer players have lower caps. The rake table matches the one used by ACR Poker on the same network.
