Stake Poker rakeback and VIP program

Stake Poker rakeback is a flat 3.5% of the rake you pay, and you can claim it from the VIP page whenever you like. It switches on once you reach Bronze VIP or straight away if you register with a referral code. Stake Poker is a crypto poker room that does not accept players from the US, the UK, Ireland or Australia, so this page describes the program for reference.

What Stake Poker rakeback pays

Rakeback means a poker room returns a fixed share of the rake taken from your pots. Stake Poker rakeback is set at 3.5% and does not rise with VIP progress, so every eligible player gets the same rate.

Stake Poker is the in-house card room of Stake and does not belong to an outside network. The player pool and the rewards both stay inside Stake, and the rakeback rate comes from the Stake VIP program rather than from a network deal.

How to switch on rakeback at Stake Poker

Rakeback is locked on a fresh account. Stake opens it in one of two ways.

  1. Reach Bronze VIP, which requires $10,000 in total wagers across your Stake account.
  2. Enter a referral code when you register, which turns rakeback on from your first hand.

The wagering route counts all play on Stake, so a player who also uses the casino or sportsbook can reach Bronze VIP faster than someone who only plays poker. A poker-only player at low stakes may take a long time to wager $10,000, which makes the referral route the quicker path for that profile.

When and how you collect Stake Poker rakeback

Rakeback builds up in your account as you play and stays there until you claim it. Open the VIP page, switch to the Rakeback tab and claim the balance. Claims are not tied to a weekly or monthly schedule, so you can collect after a single session or let the balance grow.

Stake Poker rakeback example

Say you pay $400 in rake in a month at Stake Poker. With rakeback active, the 3.5% rate returns $14 for that month and $168 across a full year at the same volume.

A heavier grinder paying $1,500 in rake a month gets $52.50 back each month, or $630 a year. The rate does not change with volume, so the return grows only in line with the rake you pay.

To compare, multiply your own monthly rake by the Stake Poker rate by hand. The rakeback calculator does not include Stake Poker, which publishes no rake table, but it shows what rooms with tiered programs and published rates would pay on the same rake.

Stake Poker VIP rewards beyond rakeback

The Stake VIP program also hands out reload bonuses and level-up bonuses as you climb past Bronze VIP. These rewards have no fixed percentage attached, so their value varies from player to player and cannot be counted as part of the rakeback rate.

Who the Stake Poker program fits

A flat 3.5% with instant claims favors players who already hold cryptocurrency and want access to their rewards at any moment. Players who rake heavily and want a rate that grows with volume can look at tiered systems such as Ocean Rewards at Natural8 or Elite Benefits at ACR Poker. The crypto poker rakeback rooms page lines up the options that accept cryptocurrency. Players who rake only a little each month and never reach Bronze VIP through wagering get rakeback at Stake Poker only by signing up with a referral code.

Stake Poker license and restricted countries

Stake is operated by Medium Rare N.V. under a license from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Stake Poker runs in a browser and on mobile.

The Stake terms of service list the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia among restricted jurisdictions, along with several European countries. Using Stake from a restricted country breaks those terms and puts your balance at risk. The table below shows the status by country.
